The blackjack strategy “Surrender” is particularly widespread in Europe, but not, for example, in the USA. This strategy is to be understood as an expanded option of the game of blackjack, but it is not available everywhere. Each casino, whether online or offline, has its regulations in this regard, which can vary.
The Surrender option allows you to exit the game early if the game’s outcome cannot be predicted directly via probabilities. As soon as the first hand has been dealt with, you, as a player, can “give up” and claim back half of the bet made.
However, it is important to know that you can only claim this option immediately after the dealer has dealt the first hand. If you have already taken another card, the “Surrender” option no longer exists. This approach was also known as the so-called early surrender strategy and can be found in most casinos. The situation is different from “Late Surrender.” Casinos very rarely offer this strategy. In a game that Late Surrender offers as an option, you must not step out of the game if the dealer has a blackjack. In all other cases, withdrawal is still conceivable. A late surrender also lowers the casino’s banking advantage to 0.07%.
Split
Another well-known blackjack strategy is the so-called “splitting” or “share pairs.” For example, if you get two cards of the same number from the dealer, you can split them into two sheets. The croupier will then send you another card for each hand. This doubles your stake, but it also gives you twice the chance to beat the dealer. Please keep in mind that the opportunity to share a pair is only available the first time. For example, you can’t get another card and then split the pairs. The majority of all online casinos offer cards that are rated with ten points. This includes couples consisting of kings, queens, jacks, and tens. The sharing of these pairs is only allowed.
Double
Whether doubling is offered as an option on every starting hand depends on the table. Therefore, you must inform yourself in advance whether the respective house rules, both online and offline, offer the option. As a rule, the starting hand is doubled or after a pair is divided. Only in very few cases is the option of doubling after another card drawn. So if you double, it means that your bet will be doubled. This means that you place a second bet, for which you will ultimately receive an additional card. Doubling does not mean that you double the value of the cards or their number, just the amount you wagered. Please keep in mind that once you double down, you will only get one more card; however, no further actions are allowed. So you have to continue playing with the card value achieved. Furthermore, I ask you to remember that doubling the chance of winning doubles the chance of losing.
Make An Insurance
It is not uncommon for the banker’s first card to be an ace for the bank. In this case, you can take out insurance against a bank blackjack. The insurance corresponds to half of your bet and can be placed on the blackjack table’s insurance line. If the bank now achieves blackjack, you will be paid double your insurance amount. However, if the bank does not achieve blackjack, the insurance sum is lost.
Count Cards
Card counting is a rather unheard of online or offline but often encountered blackjack strategy. I will introduce them to you here, although this can even lead to house bans in real casinos and casinos. Therefore, I ask you to be aware of the consequences before you decide to use this strategy.
Card counting can give you enormous advantages and increase your chances of winning up to 50%. In this case, too, understanding probabilities are extremely helpful, since not every card will appear the same number of times. Some cards are more likely to be placed than others. So knowing which card is more likely to be placed can greatly improve your chances of winning.
Online and offline, the high-low or running count principle is one of the simplest and most efficient card counting techniques. To do this, you simply have to classify the cards into three categories based on their value and name these categories as follows:
2 – 6 = +1
7-9 = 0
10 – A = -1
If a card in the «+1» category is placed at the start of the game and then a card in the «-1» category, the game is in «balance.» The result only becomes significant when there are only a few cards left in the deck. If the result of the count is “+1” after a few hands, you can conclude that there are more cards of higher value in the shoe.
Roulette Strategy and Different Types of Bets
Online roulette games are not like poker, in which there is very little that can be done by skill to change the trend in the game. And unlike video poker, you cannot take a different shot in online roulette games by discarding your original result for the one who might turn out to be better. Also, you won’t find subtle rule differences that could add something to your frame or reduce the house disadvantage.
Unlike online roulette, you will notice in the Brick and Mortar casino settings that the casino is only too happy to allow the player to write down all the results of the wheel continues to spin; in fact, they will even provide the pad and pencil, the equivalent of which would be an electronic board in online roulette games.
There are several different types of bets in online roulette that you can make on the virtual table. Within bets includes a so-called “straight bet” which is the most basic bet in online roulette games. It includes bets on any individual number in online roulette, from 1 to 36, as laid out in online roulette games, including zero (0) and double zero (00). A “street bet” includes bets on three numbers in a row on the roulette table. You instantly cover three numbers, and the reward is 11 to 1. The “double street bet” covers an area of six numbers, but not three (also known as a six-numbered bet) and pays 5 to 1. The “split bet” is a bet between two numbers and pays 17 to 1. The “corner bet” is placed at the point where four numbers intersect, and if some of those numbers come in, you win. It pays from 8.5 to 1. The “five-numbered bet” covers only one combination: zero, double zero, plus 1, 2, and 3. It pays 6 to 1 if one of those numbers comes in.
“Outside of betting” in online roulette includes those that are placed outside of the normal layout. There is the “red or black” bet, the “weird or even” and “low or high” bets, all of which are immediately understandable and payable in online roulette games. The “Pillar Bet” lets you bet on some of the three pillars available on the online roulette layout. In online roulette games, it is a 2 to 1 reward. The “dozen bet” covers a dozen numbers at a time, in numerical order (e.g., 1, 12, 2, 12, 3, 12) and pays 2 to 1. This is certainly a good idea to know how to this bets to actively get the best out of every strategy for online roulette game.
